QUICK ITALIAN BEEF WITH RICE
1/4 c. oil 1 med. onion, thinly sliced or diced 1/2 med. green pepper 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 c. reg. rice, uncooked 3 (8 oz.) cans Hunts tomato sauce 1 3/4 c. boiling water 1 tsp. parsley flakes 1 tsp. sweet basil Salt & pepper to taste Grated Italian cheese to taste
Heat oil. Add onion, green pepper, beef and rice. Stir over high heat until lightly browned. Add tomato sauce, water, grated Italian cheese, parsley flakes, sweet basil. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
