QUICK BEEF PASTA BAKE

2 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. onions
2 qt. tomato juice
1 box rotini (cooked noodles)
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt

Fry onions and hamburger. Put in large casserole dish. Add tomato juice, rotini and seasonings. Bake in oven for 1 hour. Add shredded cheese on top. Bake for 15 minutes before taking out.

"QUICK" BEEF STEW

3 lbs. stew meat
1 1/2 pkgs. frozen stew vegetables
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 can cooking red wine

1. Place stew meat in bottom of casserole dish.

2. Place stew vegetables over meat.

3. Stir together soups and wine until blended well, then pour over vegetables.

4. Cover, bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours.

QUICK BEEF TIPS FOR BUSY PEOPLE

Sprinkle round steak with meat tenderizer and onion salt. Cut into cubes and marinate in Worcestershire sauce for 1/2 to 3 hours, depending on how much time you have. Pour into cool pan with small amount of oil and brown quickly. Serve hot.

QUICK ITALIAN BEEF WITH RICE

1/4 c. oil
1 med. onion, thinly sliced or diced
1/2 med. green pepper
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. reg. rice, uncooked
3 (8 oz.) cans Hunts tomato sauce
1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. sweet basil
Salt & pepper to taste
Grated Italian cheese to taste

Heat oil. Add onion, green pepper, beef and rice. Stir over high heat until lightly browned. Add tomato sauce, water, grated Italian cheese, parsley flakes, sweet basil. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
